Getting the story and pictures ready...
First, I choose a pumpkin for our lantern. Next, the grown-up cuts the top off the pumpkin. Then, I scoop the seeds out with a spoon. After that, I draw a friendly face on the empty pumpkin. Next, the grown-up carves along my drawing. Finally, I put a battery light inside and watch our lantern glow.
