A week of home practice, five minutes a day

Choose the sound your speech therapist is working on. You get seven days of short activities, each one a link that opens ready to go, plus a log you can print and stick on the fridge. Five minutes is the point — a plan that takes twenty is a plan nobody does.

Which sound are you practising?

Your therapist will have told you the sound and where it sits in the word — at the beginning or the end.

Weekly log

Print this and tick a box each day. Take it back to your next appointment — your therapist will want to know which days went well.

SLPs: this link rebuilds the exact pack, so you can paste it into a note home and know what the family will see. Nothing is stored on a server and there is no account for anyone to make.

If five minutes went well

Do not stretch the session. Add a second five minutes later in the day instead — short and often beats long and occasional, and it keeps practice something your child agrees to.

These are practice activities to do alongside therapy, not a substitute for it, and nothing here assesses or diagnoses anything. If you are worried about your child's speech, your SLP or your doctor is the right first call. More for parents
